I’m Ava, a rare book gallery manager based in New York. I’m at B&B Rare Books in Midtown, a shop with specializations in 19th and 20th-century literature. I found a love for bookselling in 2024, when I moved to New York after graduating from Bryn Mawr College with a BA in English Literature and Art History.

I’m also an artist, MUA, and cook--which is what you’ll find here.  I combine my various interest through cooking projects and popups, freelance and film set makeup, freelance copy editing work, and whatever else strikes my fancy.
